Vertical alignment

These four buttons control where your text sits within its box, from top to bottom:

Button	Effect
Align to top	Text starts at the top of the box
Align to center	Text is centered vertically in the box
Align to bottom	Text sits against the bottom of the box
Justify	Text is stretched to fill the full height of the box. The space between lines will be extended

Choosing center, bottom, or justify automatically turns off auto-fit, since auto-fit only makes sense when text is anchored to the top of its box.
